So left the car at home and headed off on the 40 mile round trip. Rachel Ritter - Fundraising Manager was extreamly pleased to hear about the 6 of us and our cycle challenge. A challenge like this is not just about distances covered and start and finishing points, the bike ride is about group effort, friendship and more importantly spirit. Cycling alongside me (or more than likely wayyyy ahead of me) will be my good friends, Tom Dillon, Andrew Blakesley, Chris Speer and Steve Sanderson (as long as his broken achillies has healed in time).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I am now 5 months into my training and have lost 2 stone in weight so far!
